L'électronique affinée assure une conduite encore plus souple, ce qui se traduit par un grand plaisir à attaquer les épingles grâce à une maniabilité délicieusement agile. Mais la nouvelle SASi a aussi beaucoup à offrir aux amateurs de confort et à tous ceux qui attachent de l'importance aux qualités de voyage de ce genre de moto. Le régulateur de vitesse adaptatif ACC, qui maintient de manière autonome la distance par rapport au véhicule qui précède, est une fonctionnalité sympathique de série qui fonctionne vraiment bien. Dans tous les cas, il est recommandé d'opter pour le Quickshifter+ ou le TechPack complet - vu le prix de base, le supplément de 1000 euros ne pèse pas lourd dans la balance.

L'Africa Twin est pour moi une moto d'aventure comme une moto d'aventure doit l'être. C'était déjà le cas pour le modèle précédent et cela n'a pas changé avec l'augmentation de la cylindrée et de la puissance. D'une part, parce que la puissance de 102 ch est restée raisonnable et que Honda a même réussi à perdre quelques kilos par rapport à la CRF1000L. Il lui restait donc la polyvalence, elle fonctionne aussi bien sur l'autoroute qu'en off-road. Le châssis absorbe presque toutes les irrégularités, le moteur reste souverain dans toutes les situations, l'ergonomie et le confort d'assise sont exemplaires. Une moto pour tous les jours, mais aussi pour les grands voyages - quelle que soit la destination.
