Sur les premiers mètres, je me suis brièvement dit qu'il manquait un peu de puissance. Cependant, après un certain temps, il s'est vite avéré que la puissance ne fait pas tout et que le plaisir de conduire peut être garanti même avec peu de chevaux. Aux États-Unis, le code de la route prévoit ce que l'on appelle le "lane splitting", ce qui signifie que l'on doit avancer entre les voitures quand il y a des bouchons. Avant les feux de signalisation par exemple. Je dois avouer qu'au début, je ne me sentais pas très à l'aise ici. Une Porsche à gauche, une Dodge à droite, on n'a vraiment pas envie de les frôler avec son vélo. Toutefois, le guidon de la BMW G310R est plutôt étroit et on peut vraiment se faufiler sans crainte à travers les files de voitures vers l'avant ! Le seul défaut que j'ai remarqué dès le début est la pédale de frein. Elle est malheureusement un peu basse. Le frein arrière s'est également enclenché un peu tard. Mais cela peut certainement être optimisé par un réglage. En résumé, c'est un vélo très réussi. Il est super polyvalent, vraiment amusant dans tous les domaines et on se sent bien dès le premier instant ! Selon la plage de régime dans laquelle on se trouve, on peut adapter le vélo à son style de conduite. Cruiser à bas régime et conduire de manière super sportive à haut régime ! Le roadster polyvalent parfait à un prix exceptionnel.
