Le centre de gravité relativement bas permet aux pilotes inexpérimentés de ne pas avoir peur de la NC750X, qui semble beaucoup plus grande et plus imposante. Le moteur n'est certes pas trop sportif, mais le DCT, qui change les vitesses de manière extrêmement précise et facile à utiliser par simple pression sur un bouton ou de manière entièrement automatisée, fait vite oublier cela. Le compartiment pour casque sous le faux réservoir est particulièrement ingénieux.

L'Africa Twin est pour moi une moto d'aventure comme une moto d'aventure doit l'être. C'était déjà le cas pour le modèle précédent et cela n'a pas changé avec l'augmentation de la cylindrée et de la puissance. D'une part, parce que la puissance de 102 ch est restée raisonnable et que Honda a même réussi à perdre quelques kilos par rapport à la CRF1000L. Il lui restait donc la polyvalence, elle fonctionne aussi bien sur l'autoroute qu'en off-road. Le châssis absorbe presque toutes les irrégularités, le moteur reste souverain dans toutes les situations, l'ergonomie et le confort d'assise sont exemplaires. Une moto pour tous les jours, mais aussi pour les grands voyages - quelle que soit la destination.
