La Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Pro est équipée d'un puissant moteur trois cylindres en ligne et de nombreuses options. Ce pack sans souci sur deux roues se laisse piloter de manière souveraine, mais préfère clairement des allures plutôt confortables. Si cela ne vous dérange pas, vous apprécierez la douceur de la suspension électronique, la bonne protection contre le vent et les nombreuses caractéristiques de confort. Mais la Tiger 1200 nouvellement développée manque (encore) un peu de rondeur dans certains coins, comme on le remarque par exemple aux réactions plus fortes aux changements de charge et aux vibrations à haute fréquence sur les étapes d'autoroute.

L'Africa Twin est pour moi une moto d'aventure comme une moto d'aventure doit l'être. C'était déjà le cas pour le modèle précédent et cela n'a pas changé avec l'augmentation de la cylindrée et de la puissance. D'une part, parce que la puissance de 102 ch est restée raisonnable et que Honda a même réussi à perdre quelques kilos par rapport à la CRF1000L. Il lui restait donc la polyvalence, elle fonctionne aussi bien sur l'autoroute qu'en off-road. Le châssis absorbe presque toutes les irrégularités, le moteur reste souverain dans toutes les situations, l'ergonomie et le confort d'assise sont exemplaires. Une moto pour tous les jours, mais aussi pour les grands voyages - quelle que soit la destination.
