A-t-on besoin de 175 ch ou même d'un launch control dans une moto de tourisme ? Bien sûr que non. Est-ce que c'est amusant ? Définitivement ! Même si la Super Duke GT ne peut pas cacher ses gènes et que, malgré son poids à sec de 209 kg, elle est incontestablement une Duke en ce qui concerne l'agilité et l'envie de prendre des virages, elle permet néanmoins de cruiser en toute décontraction, à condition bien sûr d'avoir une certaine "maturité" avec de telles données de puissance. Car contrairement à la Super Duke R ou à une 890 Duke R, elle ne me suggère pas constamment le couteau entre les limites, mais plutôt un sentiment de souveraineté, selon la devise "je peux, mais je ne dois pas". Et tout cela avec un équipement de série somptueux ou comme on est en droit de l'attendre d'une moto à 22 499 euros en Autriche ou 19 053 euros en Allemagne.

La KTM 790 Duke L est une moto naked absolument sportive et très amusante. La capacité d'un débutant à s'en sortir dépend fortement de sa personnalité et de ses performances de conduite.
