Le petit quatre-temps a particulièrement bien profité de la grande mise à jour de 2017. En effet, KTM a pu augmenter encore la puissance de cette machine poussive. Désormais, même les pilotes qui la trouvaient jusqu'à présent un peu trop faible peuvent à nouveau l'essayer. Bien sûr, elle est devenue encore plus souple et tous les nouveaux points forts des modèles 2017 s'appliquent aussi à elle. Mais avec ses 40 CV, elle a élargi son groupe cible plus nettement que les autres modèles 17.

Un tout nouveau moteur pour 2017 ! Plus léger et plus silencieux, grâce à l'arbre d'équilibrage. En termes de réactivité, la 250 se rapproche davantage de la 300. Même à bas régime, la 250 a nettement plus de punch ! La limite entre 250 et 300 est désormais très mince.
