Yamaha V-MAX 2016

The big Vmax from Yamaha is a unique bike. This applies to the technical side, with the largest V4 engine in a bike of all time, as well as to the emotional side of riding a Vmax. Few bikes can offer such brute grunt in every riding situation, and even fewer of them are cruisers. Although its stubborn turning behaviour detracts from the riding pleasure, the seating position is quite cramped and the sound could be more indicative of the massive displacement, the propulsion is addictive. The Vmax 1700 is definitely a niche product, but also an absolutely awe-inspiring, unique bike.

The Fat Bob is the sportiest of the 8 new Harley-Davidson Softail models. You can tell not only by the fact that this wicked muscle bike is already visually close to being a naked bike, but also by the components: 43 mm upside-down fork, dual brake discs and 180 rear tyres. The surprisingly light-footed handling cannot be prevented by the 150 front tyres and 306 kilos of weight; only the lean angle clearance could be better. But the overall appearance is right and the big V2 engine delivers 94 hp and 155 Nm of torque (the Fat Bob is also available with a "smaller" engine with 87 hp and 145 Nm of torque).
