It is aimed at riders who appreciate comfort and features, but can compromise when it comes to ergonomics, engine and braking performance. For €7,990, you get a fully packed touring motorbike - with panniers, crash bars, TFT display and solid range as standard. If you can tinker with the ergonomics and live with the riding performance, you'll find an amazingly equipped bike for the price.

The new Tenere 700 Rally is a fusion of the beautiful design of the previous Rally Edition, inspired by the old Teneres of the 80s and 90s, with the high-performance components of the Tenere 700 Extreme. The high-quality KYB suspension and successful, revised ergonomics make it a conqueror of all trails. Never before has it been possible to ride a standard Tenere so hard and at the same time so stylishly over hill and dale. But it also wants to be driven sportily through off-road terrain. An overly cosy throttle hand only suits the fast-working, sporty suspension to a limited extent and with the high seat height, you don't want to be looking for ground contact with your legs too often. However, those who are adept at conquering off-road tracks can have a lot of fun with the new Tenere 700 Rally. The new electronic features in no way diminish this riding pleasure.
