The weight of 212 kilos ready to ride is put into perspective when it comes to handling thanks to the low centre of gravity; instead, the powerful brakes at the front provide a surprising amount of sportiness. Nevertheless, comfort is not neglected, the seating position is comfortable, the chassis offers sufficient reserves and the workmanship is excellent. The fact that many features such as heated grips, TFT display and heated seats cost extra should not be held against the BMW scooter, because at least you have the choice of whether or not to add them.
