Pros and Cons in comparison

Pros and Cons in comparison

Yamaha TMAX 2017

Yamaha TMAX 2017

The Yamaha TMAX is still an arrow-quick riding machine in 2017. It remained true to its line and offers motorbike riding performance with scooter comfort. In the current vintage, it now finally has more storage space. The drive unit has been spruced up with lots of electronics and feels fantastic. A real top product at a premium price.

great brakes

high-quality chassis allows high speed even on bad asphalt

great engine with super-tuned electronics for injection and gearbox

high-quality workmanship

High price

somewhat fiddly storage compartment in the front fairing

BMW C 400 X 2018

BMW has certainly arrived well in the mid-size scooter segment with the C400X. Thanks to the competitive performance, the propulsion is completely satisfactory and, in combination with the sporty chassis, even gives rise to real riding pleasure. In addition, the scooter can be equipped to a very high standard (for an additional charge) and can almost be raised to motorbike level. Unfortunately, the sporty tuning of the suspension struts is not much fun on bad roads, and the front brake does not do justice to the scooter's character.

Good traction

clean response

sporty chassis

storage compartment variable

Suspension struts too hard on bad roads

front brake could have more bite
