Triumph refines the Daytona 660 for 2026 with targeted updates. The focus is clearly on a sportier overall package, more standard features, and a more striking appearance. The core remains intact but receives updates exactly where it counts in everyday riding and twisty roads.

New features include an adjustable Showa front fork, standard Triumph Shift Assist, and Metzeler M9RR supersport tires. Additionally, there are new color options and subtle and refined detail updates.

Triumph Daytona 660 Engine: Triple with Power and Rev-Happiness

The Triumph Daytona 660 sticks with the renowned 660cc triple-cylinder engine. The triple churns out 95 HP at 11,250 rpm and 69 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm, with a redline at 12,650 rpm. The engine delivers a strong, linear pull with around 80 percent of its torque available across a wide range. At the same time, the triple revs cleanly and delivers the necessary punch at the top end.

New for 2026 is the standard Triumph Shift Assist. Clutchless up and downshifts provide more flow when carving corners and make throttle control even more direct. The slip & assist clutch further reduces lever effort and stabilizes the rear during aggressive downshifting.

Triumph Daytona 660 Electronics: Clearly Structured

The Daytona 660 sticks to a deliberately straightforward electronics setup. Three riding modes—Sport, Road, and Rain—adjust throttle response and traction control to suit conditions. The ride-by-wire system ensures precise throttle command execution, while the TFT display with LCD overlay provides all essential information. Optionally, the My Triumph Connectivity can expand the system to include navigation, music, and phone controls.

2026 Chassis Update: Noticeably More Control

The biggest change occurs in the chassis. Up front, there's now a Showa 41 mm USD Big Piston fork, adjustable for compression and rebound damping. These adjustments offer significantly more flexibility in the setup—whether you're enjoying a leisurely country road ride or pushing hard through the twisties. At the rear, the Showa shock with adjustable preload remains unchanged.

Combined with the new Metzeler M9RR tires, the Daytona 660 delivers more feedback, increased grip, and more precise steering behavior. Exactly what you expect when attacking the curves with ambition.

Triumph Daytona 660 Brakes and Ergonomics

The braking system features dual 310 mm discs up front, paired with radially mounted four-piston calipers and stainless steel braided lines. This setup is supported by a Continental ABS for controlled deceleration. The seat height remains at 810 mm but can be optionally lowered to 785 mm. The riding position is crafted from clip-ons above the triple clamp and well-positioned footpegs, resulting in a sporty yet everyday-friendly stance.

A riding position that remains enjoyable for everyday use.

Triumph Daytona 660 Design 2026: Enhanced Contrast

For 2026, the Daytona 660 introduces three new color options. Alongside a sleek Sapphire Black, there are two more striking designs available in Aluminum Silver and Cosmic Yellow. New graphics and Diablo Red accents enhance its presence. Triumph offers over 30 accessories, including solutions for comfort, technology, and aesthetics. An A2 conversion kit is also available.

Triumph Daytona 660 Price and Availability

The Triumph Daytona 660 is available in Germany starting at €9,995 (plus dealer-specific delivery charges) and in Austria at €11,295 including all charges and NOVA. Both markets also receive a 4-year manufacturer's warranty.

The Daytona 660 will be available at dealers from April 2026.
