It blends high comfort with exceptional sportiness, offering precise handling, robust wind protection, and ample space. However, it does exhibit relatively high fuel consumption and a slightly restricted sporty riding position due to the wide tank. Quality and craftsmanship appear significantly improved, and the four-year warranty adds further confidence. Despite its price, the 1390 SAS EVO is among the most technically advanced and rider-friendly travel enduros on the market, aimed at helping KTM regain trust and market share.

The KTM 990 RC R 2026 marks KTM's return to the supersport class, blending track DNA with street legality. The 947cc LC8c twin engine delivers 130 hp and 103 Nm, is fuel-efficient, and meets Euro 5+ standards. A new 8.8-inch widescreen TFT, comprehensive riding modes with optional Track and Tech packages, and a four-stage cornering ABS define the electronics suite. The chassis features a steel frame with an aluminum subframe, while WP APEX components and a Brembo setup ensure precise handling and control. Aerodynamically optimized, the fairing provides measurable downforce, and ergonomically, the bike offers adjustable footpegs and good comfort. On both road and track, the RC R impresses with stability, feedback, and balanced ergonomics, though the brakes require a bit more hand strength. A dedicated track version is set to follow in 2026.

We had to wait, but now it's here: The KTM 990 Duke R is based on the well-known 990 Duke but has been overhauled in all key areas. The 947cc parallel-twin now delivers 130 hp and 103 Nm, while the weight is reduced to 190 kilograms. A new 9-inch TFT touchscreen with split-screen functionality offers modern user interaction, and enhanced riding and ABS modes, including SPORT and SUPERMOTO+, allow for greater customization. The revamped chassis with a fully adjustable WP APEX fork and a linkage-mounted shock promises increased precision and stability. A Brembo Stylema system with 320 mm discs replaces the previous brake setup to significantly improve handling. Design-wise, the 990 Duke R combines orange accents with matte black surfaces, reminiscent of earlier Super Duke models. In a brief test, the near-production prototype impressed with clear feedback, a finely tuned chassis, and strong brakes, while comfort takes a backseat to sportiness.

The KTM 690 SMC R 2026 has undergone a fundamental overhaul, re-establishing itself as the benchmark in the supermoto class. Its revised LC4 single-cylinder engine delivers 79 hp and 73 Nm, running smoother and more efficiently, while extended maintenance intervals increase everyday usability. The 690 SMC R has seen significant electronic updates: a new 4.2-inch TFT, two riding modes, and an optional Tech Pack with Quickshifter, Launch Control, and Anti-Wheelie feature bring it up to date. The chassis with fully adjustable WP APEX components provides precise feedback, and the Brembo braking system offers excellent modulation. Weighing in at 162 kilograms fully fueled, with a seat height of 899 millimeters and the characteristic robust single-cylinder character, it remains uncompromisingly sporty, yet offers more comfort and control than before—a consistently evolved supermoto from Mattighofen.

The KTM 690 Enduro R 2026 enters the new model year with a thoroughly revised LC4 single-cylinder engine. While the displacement remains at 693 cc, the engine boasts numerous new components—including crankcase, oil circuit, valve timing, and catalytic converter—resulting in 79 hp, 73 Nm, and Euro 5+ compliance. The new throttle with a shorter twist angle allows for more precise control, replacing the previous secondary air system with an updated airbox design. The electronics package has also been modernized: a 4.2-inch TFT display with KTM Connect, USB-C, navigation, and music control now comes standard. Two riding modes—Street and Offroad—are included as standard, with an optional Rally Mode featuring Dynamic Slip Adjust that automatically adapts slip. Cornering ABS and MTC are also onboard, and a dedicated ABS-Off switch facilitates enduro use. While the chassis remains structurally unchanged, it has been improved in feedback and balance; new mounting points for the main stand and engine guard enhance everyday usability. Maintenance intervals of 15,000 km (oil) and 60,000 km (valve clearance) emphasize durability. Thus, the 690 Enduro R 2026 remains a versatile, robust single-cylinder enduro with noticeably more technology and refinement.

The KTM 450 SMR 2026 remains the uncompromising race tool in the KTM lineup but has been finely tuned for the new season. The 450 SOHC single-cylinder remains the core, while the chassis, ergonomics, and electronics have been refined for greater precision and durability. Thanks to a new EFI tuning, airbox inserts, and a modified exhaust system, the machine meets the FIM noise limits of 109 dB effective from 2025, without losing power. The proven XACT-WP suspension, Brembo brakes, and ALPINA wheels continue to ensure maximum control on the track. Enhancements to the radiator housing and fuel system simplify maintenance and increase reliability. Through the optional Connectivity Unit Offroad, the 450 SMR can also be connected to the KTMConnect app for GPS-supported data analysis. Visually, the 2026 model year features a new design with orange in-mold graphics and black accents—ready for the starting line.

The KTM Enduro Models 2026 receive a comprehensive technical and design update for tough off-road use. The model structure is new: the previous 125 and 250 EXC are now called XC-W, emphasizing their competition orientation. The lineup includes 2-stroke models with TBI fuel injection (125 XC-W, 250 XC-W, 300 EXC) as well as 4-strokes from 250 to 500 EXC-F. Updates include the laser-cut steel chassis with aluminum subframe, the WP XACT Closed Cartridge fork with new damping settings and lighter springs, and the WP XPLOR PDS shock without linkage for direct traction. Cooling and protection see detailed improvements with a new CPC protection cover, reworked cooling system, and standard fan on the 300 EXC and all EXC-F models. The equipment is rounded out by forged triple clamps, Brembo brakes, Keihin throttle bodies, Neken handlebars, and ODI grips. Visually, the series presents itself in fresh KTM orange with red accents and a black seat. Market launch is set for August 2025, with the 300 EXC following in October.

The KTM 300 EXC Hardenduro 2026 has been further developed for extreme off-road conditions. A revised 48mm WP XACT Closed Cartridge fork with lighter springs and a new hydro-stop element reduces weight and enhances feedback, while an optimized WP XPLOR PDS shock ensures balanced handling. Cooling has been improved with a new radiator cap and standard fan, and the fuel system has been made more robust with a protective CPC cap. Visually, the hardenduro features classic KTM orange with factory-level equipment like CNC triple clamps, a factory wheelset, and engine protection. Available from September 2025, it meets Euro 5+ standards and is priced at 13,299 Euros (AT) and 12,949 Euros (DE).

The KTM EXC 6DAYS 2026 lineup consists of five special models—300 EXC, 250, 350, 450, and 500 EXC-F—based on the revamped EXC series and specifically aligned with the FIM Six Days Enduro. All models feature a WP XACT Closed Cartridge suspension with a new setup and a PDS shock for improved feedback and reduced mass. New robust fuel connections and standard radiator fans with redesigned covers are also included. Visually, the 6DAYS models sport the striking Italy livery in blue, white, green, and red, with an orange frame and 6DAYS logos on the handlebars, rims, and exhaust. CNC triple clamps, quick-release front axle, Supersprox Stealth sprocket, mapping switch, and Metzeler 6DAYS Extreme tires are standard equipment. The market launch for the 4-stroke versions is set for September 2025, with the 300 EXC 6DAYS following in October.

The KTM 450 SX-F and 250 SX-F Factory Edition 2026 are motocross bikes meticulously tuned for racing, featuring components directly from the factory team. Both models come standard with the WP XACT PRO 7548 Cone-Valve fork and WP XACT PRO 8950 shock, offering extensive adjustability for rebound and compression, and can be fine-tuned via the KTMconnect app. The lightweight, laser-cut steel frame with an aluminum-polyamide subframe combines flexibility and stability, while airbox, radiator covers, and tank coupling have been optimized. An Akrapovic titanium exhaust system meets the FIM limit of 109 dB without power loss. Standard equipment includes a Factory Start Device, CNC triple clamps, carbon engine guard, DID DirtStar wheels, Dunlop MX34 tires, and Hinson clutch cover. Visually, the Factory Editions sport the typical factory design with an orange frame and black wheels. Available from December 2025.
