Benda Vinster 700: V-twin with 73.4 hp and six gears

A cruiser engine in a roadster? Benda goes one better and turns it into a duo. For EICMA 2026 in Milan, the brand is announcing the Vinster 700 and the Vinster X 700, marking its entry into the roadster segment. Both share the same base but take different paths when it comes to proportions and features. The Vinster 700 stays closer to the classic street roadster, while the X gets a more rugged, touring-inspired look. Both models, however, are still considered concept bikes.

At its heart, according to Benda, is a liquid-cooled four-stroke V-twin with a 65-degree cylinder angle and 691.66 cc displacement. It produces 54 kW or 73.4 hp at 9,000 rpm and delivers a maximum of 68 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Bore and stroke are 80 × 68.8 mm, and the compression ratio is 11.5:1. Benda also uses this engine in the Rock 707 and the Capra 700. Shifting is handled by a six-speed gearbox, paired with an oil-bath multi-plate anti-hopping clutch and chain drive. Both Vinster models have a 15-litre tank.

The 691.66 cc V-twin stays on display and, according to Benda, produces 73.4 hp.

Benda Vinster 700: Single-sided swingarm and exposed mechanicals

The shared platform consists of a double-cradle frame and an aluminium single-sided swingarm. Up front there is an upside-down telescopic fork, at the rear a hydraulic shock absorber. Benda quotes 135 mm of suspension travel at the front and 120 mm at the rear. Both wheels are slowed by disc brakes, with a radial four-piston caliper at the front and a two-piston caliper at the rear. Dual-channel ABS is also part of the features. The documentation does not specify disc diameters.

An aluminium single-sided swingarm, flat seat and integrated twin exhaust system define the Vinster.

In terms of design, Benda combines modern and neo-retro elements: sculpted bodywork, a long, flat seat, an integrated twin exhaust system and openly exposed mechanicals. The engine is deliberately meant to take centre stage. According to Petr Badura, Transportation Designer at Benda Motor Europe, the Vinster grew out of the idea of building a roadster around the existing V-twin from the cruiser range. The contrast between carefully shaped bodywork and the mechanical character of the engine forms the core of this design.

Benda Vinster 700: 17-inch wheels and 830 mm seat height

The Vinster 700 relies on minimalist bodywork and classic roadster proportions. Up front sits a 120/70-17 tyre, at the rear a 170/60-17. The seat height is 830 mm, and the kerb weight quoted by Benda is 195 kg. The press material does not explain exactly how this weight figure is defined. As for dimensions, the data sheet lists 2,160 mm length, 849 mm width and 1,100 mm height. The wheelbase is 1,510 mm. That makes it the lower, shorter and lighter version of the duo.

Benda Vinster X 700: More height and touring features

The Vinster X 700 adopts the engine and chassis base but rolls on a larger front wheel with a 120/70-19 tyre. At the rear it sticks with the 170/60-17. The seat height rises to 865 mm, and the quoted kerb weight to 200 kg. It measures 2,203 × 849 × 1,150 mm, with a wheelbase of 1,518 mm. That is 35 mm more seat height and 5 kg more kerb weight than the Vinster 700.

Benda Vinster X 700

The Vinster X 700 gets a 19-inch front wheel, high mudguard and hand guards.

The features follow the different approach too: the X comes with a side bag, skid plate, hand guards and a high-mounted front mudguard. Added to that are an extended windscreen and a tank luggage rack. According to Benda, this should make it better suited to longer tours. So the difference from the Vinster 700 lies not just in the larger front wheel but also in the additional add-on parts.

Benda Vinster 700: TFT, USB and the open question of price

Both models get a landscape-format TFT display for the most important riding data. USB-A and USB-C charging ports are also on board. Benda has not yet stated a price or a specific sales launch in the documents provided - but after all, these are still concept bikes.
