New HJC Helmets 2027: Eight new models from 99.90 euros

For 2027, HJC is introducing eight new helmet models. The range stretches from the Y50 kids' motocross helmet through full-face, modular and open-face helmets all the way to the Carbon RPHA 60 for adventure riders. What they all have in common is ECE 22.06 certification. This expands the choice within an overall line-up of 33 helmet models across six categories: RPHA series, full-face, modular, open-face, off-road and kids. According to HJC, that adds up to more than 450 colour and design variants. So what do the eight newcomers bring to the table? Let's take a look at the differences.

Leading the new arrivals is the Carbon RPHA 60 with a carbon outer shell. According to HJC, data from MotoGP riders was used for its aerodynamic development. The removable peak was wind-tunnel tested, says the manufacturer, and is designed to suit both adventure and sporty riding. On top of that come a dynamic multi-stage sun visor, DMS for short, and a titanium double-D ring. Four air intakes and four exhaust vents take care of ventilation. The helmet is available in XS to 2XL, as a Solid for 559.90 euros and in the Oure design for 609.90 euros.

For the F72 Carbon, HJC also relies on a carbon shell, which is said to be compact and light, thereby improving balance and wearing comfort. The visor meets optical class 1 and features a one-touch central locking mechanism. An integrated sun visor, a gold-coloured double-D ring and the anti-fog performance highlighted by the manufacturer round out the features. Five intakes and four exhaust vents handle the airflow. Sizes range from XS to 2XL, prices from 429.90 euros for the Solid to 469.90 euros for the Kairo and Eos designs.

The F72 technology is also available with an AFC shell made of Advanced Fiberglass Composite. On this F72, the central visor lock is designed to allow smooth movement without twisting. HJC also lists an integrated, distortion-free sun visor and a Pinlock-ready HJ-52 visor. With XS to 2XL as well as five intakes and four exhaust vents, sizes and ventilation openings match the carbon model. The fibreglass version costs 319.90 euros as a Solid and 369.90 euros with the Racero, Odyssea or Oflo graphics.

Price-wise, the i72 slots in below the two F72 versions. Its APC shell is made of a polycarbonate composite that HJC describes as compact and light. One-touch central locking and an integrated sun visor are also on board. Ventilation-wise, five intakes are matched by two exhaust vents. Sizes start as small as 2XS and go up to 2XL. With the Marti design, however, the range ends at M. The Solid costs 219.90 euros, while the Shard, Tala, Electra and Marti graphic variants come in at 259.90 euros.

On the i101, the chin bar rotates backwards, which is meant to keep the helmet compact even when open. The concealed chin bar lock is designed to reduce wind noise. A practical detail: the sun visor can be adjusted in height by up to 8 mm. HJC combines this with an APC polycarbonate composite shell plus three air intakes and two exhaust vents. The i101 comes in XS to 2XL. As a Solid it costs 299.90 euros, with the Mira, Astel or Krone designs 349.90 euros.

The C92 offers you a cheaper way in. This modular helmet also has an APC shell. Slim cheek pads are meant to create an open-face look, plus there's an extended spoiler as well as three air intakes and four exhaust vents. HJC promises continuous airflow from front to back. The size chart lists XS to 3XL, and the documentation explicitly confirms this range for the Solid version. It costs 169.90 euros. The Ragna and Sirius designs are listed at 199.90 euros.

The i41 open-face helmet gets redesigned ventilation, a redesigned visor and new side covers. According to HJC, its interior padding is made of hypoallergenic OEKO-TEX fabric. An integrated sun visor and a ratchet buckle are also part of the package. The APC shell comes in XS to 2XL, and ventilation works with one intake and five exhaust vents. The Solid starts at 129.90 euros, while the Maia, Varo and Solix designs cost 159.90 euros.

For young motocross riders, there's the Y50 with an APC shell in YS to YXL. According to the documentation, HJC optimised the peak in the wind tunnel using CFD. The Bespoke Contour System, BCS for short, is designed to ensure a secure fit on a child's head. Six intakes and two exhaust vents are meant to handle cooling. At 99.90 euros for the Solid, the Y50 is the cheapest of the new models. The Dash and Megadon designs cost 129.90 euros.

HJC credits all eight new models with the Advanced Channeling Ventilation System, ACS for short. The technology overview also lists antibacterial, removable and washable padding. The Carbon RPHA 60, F72 Carbon and F72 feature emergency cheek pads designed to make rescue faster and easier. When it comes to shells, the manufacturer's range of materials stretches from carbon through AFC and APC to the aerospace-derived P.I.M. prepreg used in the RPHA series. The specific material assignment of the eight new models remains as described above.

For its visor technology, HJC cites 3D development, scratch resistance, 99 percent UV protection and Pinlock readiness. The documentation lists clear, light-tinted and dark-tinted visors as well as silver, gold, blue and Fire Red. It does not provide an exact assignment of every variant to each helmet. According to HJC, the central one-touch lock on the F72 Carbon, F72 and i72 is designed to allow even, precise closing without twisting.

For communication, HJC offers three second-generation systems. Full integration into the helmet is meant to benefit weight distribution and aerodynamics. The Carbon RPHA 60 is prepared for all three. The 11B costs 149.90 euros and offers two-way Bluetooth intercom, Bluetooth 5.1, HD speakers and audio multitasking. HJC quotes a range of 400 metres.

The 21B, priced at 219.90 euros, adds four-way Bluetooth intercom and group intercom. It also uses Bluetooth 5.1, offers HD speakers and is compatible with a remote control. The stated range is 1,600 metres. The 50B, at 349.90 euros, combines open and group mesh intercom with a range of up to two kilometres plus four-way Bluetooth intercom. Voice commands, access to digital assistants, FM radio and HD speakers are included. The ranges are manufacturer figures.

The prices quoted are taken from HJC's documentation for Germany and Austria, as of October 2026. They are recommended retail prices including VAT. Uni refers to the single-colour Solid versions, Design to the graphic versions. The press release does not give a specific launch date.
