On the technical front, the adventure touring legend Africa Twin remains unchanged. No need for alarm, as the Africa Twin series received a comprehensive update in 2024. While the Africa Twin remains technically the same for 2026, it's more colorful than ever.

Honda Africa Twin: New Color Options for 2026

The Africa Twin remains technically unchanged, but it's designed to stand out visually. Three new designs are available:

  • Grand Prix Red
  • Matte Ballistic Black Metallic
  • Pearl Glare White

The long-distance flagship, the CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports, also showcases a new look:

Technically, nothing changes on the Africa Twin—the 1,084 cc parallel-twin remains at its heart. It's known for being powerful, reliable, and smooth both on asphalt and off-road. The DCT dual-clutch transmission, chosen by nearly half of the buyers in 2025, is still available.

The standard version continues to rely on proven suspension components, while the EERA variant provides electronically controlled damping, heated grips, and a 12-volt socket for enhanced comfort and adaptability.

The Adventure Sports model is clearly aimed at long-distance riders with its 24.8-liter tank and over 500 kilometers of range—the 19-inch front wheel enhances road stability.

A Success Story

Since its rebirth in 2016, the Africa Twin has become one of the brand's most successful models. According to Honda, over 121,000 units have been sold in Europe alone. For six years, it ranked among the top three best-selling motorcycles over 125 cc. With the new colors, Honda gives the successful model a visual refresh without altering its proven technology. For fans of the adventure series, this means the same reliability, more options, and even more style for the 2026 season.

Training Opportunities with the Latest Models at Honda Adventure Centers

With its three Adventure Offroad Centers in Italy, France, and the UK, Honda is taking motorcycle adventure to the next level. Led by seasoned pros like David Frétigné, Dave Thorpe, and Marcello Romano, the centers provide riders of all skill levels a safe environment to learn off-road skills and build confidence on models such as the CRF1100L Africa Twin, Transalp, or CRF300L. The focus is not on competition, but on controlled learning, mindfulness, and respect for people and nature. Custom-tailored training sessions enhance practical skills, self-confidence, and riding enjoyment—whether on gravel, sand, or rocks. With this initiative, Honda underscores its long-standing off-road tradition and Dakar successes, positioning Europe as a true hub of adventure motorcycling.
