Lettenbichler Takes Early Lead
In perfect starting conditions, Manuel Lettenbichler entered the world’s toughest Extreme Enduro as a favorite. 500 riders from across the globe took on the challenge at the Styrian Erzberg, yet only a few would endure the 35-kilometer ordeal. Initially, Billy Bolt set the pace, leading the pack through the first checkpoints at a blistering speed. However, at Checkpoint 10, the first section of the infamous Carl's Dinner, the Brit made a minor error—and Lettenbichler seized the opportunity. The 27-year-old German took the lead and never looked back.

From that moment, the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider delivered a remarkable demonstration. Lettenbichler steadily increased his lead, navigating the technically demanding sections nearly flawlessly. In the final stretches of Carl's Dinner, Motorex Highway, Siberia Dynamite, and the new Lazy Noon section, he showcased his exceptional riding skills. After 2:49:17 hours, Lettenbichler crossed the finish line as the winner, greeted by thousands of ecstatic fans. For the current dominant force in Extreme Enduro, it marked another pinnacle in his career.
