Die Yamaha XJR 1300 Racer ist quasi schon im Serienzustand ein liebevoll aufgebautes Custombike. Angesichts der vermutlich geringen Stückzahlen welche Yamaha von dem Motorrad absetzen wird, ist es bestimmt keine Massenware. Wer auf luftgekühlte Vierzylinder steht, wird dieses Motorrad lieben. Hier wurde dieses Aggregat perfektioniert und ist 4-Zylinderkultur in reinster Form. Die Sitzposition ist lässig und macht auf flüssigen Passagen viel Spaß, im langsamen Stadtverkehr wird es aber ein wenig ungemütlich. Die Maschine wird ohne ABS angeboten. Für jene die das mögen ist das ein Pluspunkt, alle anderen müssen sich leider wo anders umsehen.
