Medtem ko se različne zvrsti motornih koles vse bolj brišejo in prekrivajo, je Ducati Scrambler Icon resnično preprost in robusten scrambler, ki ga obljublja njegovo ime. Široko krmilo omogoča neverjetno enostavno upravljanje, zato zlahka odpustimo dejstvo, da v udobje usmerjeno podvozje nima nastavljive vilice, medtem ko je mogoče pri blažilniku nastaviti vsaj odskok in prednapetost vzmeti. Odpustite tudi dejstvo, da je za prednji enojni disk treba kar nekaj ročne sile; navsezadnje je zelo pohvalno, da je serijsko vgrajen sistem ABS za vožnjo v ovinkih. Preostala oprema pa je spet v skladu z minimalističnim slogom, ki je pri (zastarelih) instrumentih LCD morda celo nekoliko pretiran. Na splošno pa Scrambler Icon prepriča predvsem s svojim uspešnim videzom, ki tudi pri mirujočem vozilu sporoča, za kaj gre: življenjski slog namesto sloga vožnje!
