RSV4 je zabaven. V sedlu je pravi dirkaški občutek in noben 1000-kubični motocikel se pri vstopu v ovinek ne obrne tako hitro kot RSV4. Kar zadeva športnost, vodljivost in značilnosti motorja, je RSV4 Factory od vseh testnih voznikov prejel le pohvale. Vendar pa ima radikalen splošni koncept dve veliki pomanjkljivosti: sedežni položaj na dolgih odsekih ceste in nekoliko nestabilen zadnji del.
