Zaradi vizualnega sloga flat trackerja je edinstven in zaželen, redke pnevmatike pa nikakor ne vplivajo negativno na dinamiko vožnje. Zaradi tega je FTR 1200 lahko vodljivo golo kolo, ki se odlično znajde tudi na slabih cestah. Motor je dovolj zmogljiv, zavore dobre, položaj za vožnjo udoben, splošna zmogljivost (na suhi cesti) pa odlična.

The Triumph is primarily a scrambler motorbike. And such a good one, in fact, that this wonderfully unreasonable and brutal fun machine can also be chased into difficult terrain. It reminds us why we love motorbikes: it provides great moments in the saddle, but also has practical disadvantages. Because off-road it is a mighty iron and can easily keep up with touring enduros, if not outdo them. With the lack of a windshield and limited space for luggage, it naturally loses out in terms of touring suitability. All in all, a fascinating motorbike that attracts a lot of attention.
