Triumph je z novim modelom Speed Triple 1200 RS ustvaril izjemno dober vsestranski motocikel. Motor je mogoče zelo udobno premikati pri nizkih vrtljajih. Vozilo je po potrebi zelo dostopno in vzbuja zaupanje. Vendar pa vsakdo, ki na kompaktno zasnovanem motociklu postavi ostrino, požanje kruto pospeševanje in sunkovito zaviranje. Podvozje je na splošno precej tesno - zaradi tega izgubi nekaj svoje dostopnosti.
