Kot eden od petih različnih modelov R nineT je tudi Urban G/S uspešna različica zračno hlajenega bokserja, ki tako kot v drugih modelih proizvede 110 KM in ne pušča ničesar, kar bi si lahko želeli v smislu večje moči. Tudi zavore so na enako visoki ravni kot pri originalnem R nineT, le podvozje mora popustiti. Sistem ABS je na voljo serijsko, ASC pa za doplačilo. Za zadovoljstvo ne potrebujete veliko več. Edina stvar, brez katere se ne bi radi odrekli, so platišča z žičnatimi kraki, saj skupaj s TKC80 dopolnjujejo videz.

With the RnineT, BMW has created a monument to itself and the boxer that has made it into many garages around the world. The R nineT is a best-seller thanks to its successful overall concept and has served numerous customisers as the basis for a wide range of conversions. Compared to a Thruxton, however, the BMW does not appear authentic in all details, and on the poor road surfaces in the Alps, the suspension may be tuned too hard or the exhaust may be too loud in the long run.
