Panigale je v različici V4 iz leta 2018 postal veliko bolj dostopen kot prej. Motor v kombinaciji s paketom elektronike še vedno ni tako brezhiben in sterilen kot vrstni štirivaljnik, vendar je v praksi pravi blagoslov za Ducatiste - in pozitivno presenečenje za voznike drugih znamk. Panigale V4 je presenetil tudi z znosnim udobjem vožnje na podeželski cesti in prijetno stopnjo stabilnosti. Napredek na tem področju je bil očitno v pravi smeri. Novi model V4 je močnejši in hitrejši, hkrati pa tudi lažji in prijetnejši za vožnjo.
