Vendar pa dejstvo, da quickshifter ni na voljo niti za doplačilo, prizadene prave športne navdušence. Če se lahko sprijaznite z razmeroma visoko težo, ki presega 214 kilogramov, dobite dovolj obvladljivo golo kolo.

Yamahi MT-09 za prihajajočo sezono ni bilo treba na novo izumljati - že pred skoraj štirimi leti je bila izjemno dobro izdelana. Namesto tega so se Japonci osredotočili na fino prilagoditev in dodajanje praktičnih, sodobnih trikov, kot sta nadzor vleke in samodejno prestavljanje. V celoti gledano, še bolj eleganten naked bike, ki je bil očitno ustvarjen za užitek v vožnji z motorjem.
