Yamaha MT-09 SP je imela že v prejšnji generaciji lahke naloge, saj je še bolj izpopolnjena različica že tako dobrega in čudovito okretnega zabavnega stroja! Tudi trenutna različica SP ni nič drugačna, le da je bila še dodatno izboljšana. Zaradi nekoliko večje moči, večjega navora in bolje uglašene elektronike je še bolj zabaven. Po pričakovanjih vzmetenje s klasičnejšimi komponentami KYB in Öhlins deluje odlično, zavore bi lahko bile nekoliko ostrejše, vendar je položaj sedenja še vedno takšen, kot bi pričakovali od tako agilnega in lahko obvladljivega zabavnega stroja. Nekaj domislic, kot sta majhen zaslon TFT ali sporna svetlobna maska, ga nikakor ne poslabšajo, temveč mu preprosto dajejo še bolj neodvisno osebnost!

Vedno lahko ugovarjate glede videza in pomanjkanja okvirja, vendar je trenutni Monster vse prej kot grd. V bistvu bi bil odličen vsakdanji naked bike s prijetno ergonomijo in zavornim sistemom, ki ne preseneti niti neizkušenih.
