MT-03 ostaja Yamahin najbolj dostopen in pragmatičen Hyper Naked v tem segmentu. Odlikujejo jo nizka višina sedeža, zlahka obvladljiva moč dvovaljnika, hkrati pa ponuja dovolj udobja za potnike v službo. Kar mu morda manjka pri športnosti, nadoknadi pri udobju, zato je idealen za ljudi, ki iščejo dobro delujoč motocikel z brutalnim videzom. Vendar ne smete biti preveliki in ne smete stremeti k temu, da bi se pod kotom kosali z drugimi modeli v ponudbi MT - saj za to ni bil zasnovan. The Duke's greatest strength, apart from its rideability, is its manoeuvrability, which is why it can confidently be called a toy. It's only when you're on the racetrack and attacking hard that you wish you had the "R" under your bum.
