Do you need 175 hp or even launch control in a touring motorbike? Of course not. Is it fun? Definitely! Although the Super Duke GT can't hide its genes and is undeniably a Duke in terms of agility and cornering power despite its 209 kg dry weight, it's still possible to cruise in a relaxed manner, always assuming a certain "maturity" with such performance data, of course. Because unlike the Super Duke R or even an 890 Duke R, it doesn't constantly suggest the knife between my teeth, but rather a feeling of sovereignty, freely according to the motto "I can, but I don't have to". And all of this comes lavishly equipped as standard, or as one might expect from a motorbike costing 22,499 euros in Austria or 19,053 euros in Germany.

Diva iz Bologne sploh ni več diva - Ducati Mulitstrada 1200 se obnaša natanko tako, kot bi pričakovali od potovalnega endura. Že predhodnik je bil okreten, zdaj pa aktualna Multija navdušuje tudi z uglajenim vedenjem v vseh hitrostnih razponih. To bi se lahko pravim ljubiteljem stare Mulitstrade zdelo skoraj dolgočasno, vendar je zaradi tega na splošno bolj uporabna. V tesnih ovinkih potrebuje nekoliko več pritiska kot konkurenca, vendar prav tako lepo riše linijo, v ovinkih za lase pa je zaradi sistema DVT zdaj predvidljiv napad od daleč spodaj zelo koristen. Ko postanejo ovinki širši, Multistrada 1200 v zgornjem območju vrtljajev izkoristi vso moč svojih 160 KM, s čimer lahko sledijo le redki konkurenti. V primerjavi s predhodnikom je olajšan tudi položaj sedenja, voznik zdaj sedi veliko udobneje pred širokim krmilom.
