Večji rezervoar različice Adventure in vsa dodatna oprema povečajo tako težo kot ceno. Z 244 kg je BMW F 850 GS Adventure okoren kos, ki ni všeč vsem. Toda ergonomija je vrhunska, položaj sedenja v širokem oklepu pa daje občutek varnosti in zaščite.

The engine shakes all kinds of driving fun out of its sleeves. The low fuel consumption in combination with the gigantic 30-litre tank ensures an incredibly long range.
