Triumph Trident 660 2021 vs. KTM 890 Duke R 2023

In terms of strengths, the Trident 660 has a powerful three-cylinder engine, surprisingly good chassis and brakes for its class, extensive electronic equipment, and the option for a quickshifter with blipper. It also has simple and accessible controls.

On the other hand, the Duke R has a powerful and rev-happy engine, finely controllable response, good optional quickshifter, a sporty seating position that provides excellent front-wheel feel, high-quality adjustable suspension, powerful Brembo brakes, low vehicle weight, and extensive electronics (partially optional).

As for weaknesses, the Trident 660's global traction control is considered too defensive. The Duke R, on the other hand, has a more demanding seating position than the base model, and its tight basic setup may not be to everyone's liking.
