Na minha opinião, a KTM 1050 Adventure retoma o ponto em que a 990 Adventure parou há alguns anos: Cerca de 100 cv de potência, manuseamento lúdico e tanta ou tão pouca eletrónica como a que existe atualmente. O motor é tudo menos fraco, o ABS e o controlo de tração regulam de forma segura e discreta e o comportamento é extremamente divertido, em parte devido aos pneus relativamente estreitos. E tudo isto a um preço que só é ultrapassado por alguns concorrentes na liga das grandes enduros de turismo. Por mais triste que possa ser, as duas 1190 Adventures e, acima de tudo, a emblemática 1290 Super Adventure, subiram de preço para níveis muito elevados. E é precisamente por isso que a KTM 1050 Adventure é talvez o mais coerente dos quatro modelos Adventure.
