However, both models have their weaknesses. The KTM 1190 Adventure 2014 is criticized for its engine's jerky behavior at low revs, a less independent feel compared to its predecessor, and a not-so-smooth slipper clutch. The KTM 1290 Super Adventure S 2022 has a few weaknesses, including the additional cost for the gear shift assistant, an idiosyncratic appearance, and a tight seat.
