De Fantic Caballero 700 is een beetje valsspelen - maar wel een hele slimme! Het motorblok van deze slimme Italiaan komt uit Japan, waar het succesvolle modellen als de MT-07 en Tenere 700 aandrijft, bekend als de CP2. De Fantic is dan ook wendbaar en opgewonden met zijn 188 kilo rijklaar gewicht. Voeg daarbij een aangenaam gemakkelijke bediening en een comfortabele zithouding in combinatie met een ravissant authentiek uiterlijk - en je hebt een echt goede verwarringsschakeling. Omdat de banden in principe goed werken en alleen het grotere 19-inch voorwiel een nog wendbaarder rijgedrag in de weg staat, is het vasthouden aan de verwarringsschakeling ook hier volledig acceptabel.
