De NC750X heeft eigenlijk maar één zwakte: zijn kracht. Met 55 pk is de alleskunner matig gemotoriseerd, maar Honda's productgamma is zo breed en divers dat de NC-groep bewust op dit gebied is gepositioneerd. De NC750X maakt veel goed met koppel en wie het sportiever wil, kan upgraden naar een Crossrunner of Crosstourer. Het New Concept schittert in zijn tweede generatie met een nog hoogwaardiger uiterlijk, betere kenmerken / opties, een stevigere voorvork en in totaal 5 rijmodi. De 3-traps sportstand betekent dat het praktisch niet meer nodig is om zelf in te grijpen in het schakelproces.
