Het merk Rieju is waarschijnlijk bekender bij jongere motorrijders. Met een enorm assortiment 50cc supermotoren en enduro's is de klantenkring meer de 16-jarige bromfietser dan de volwassen motorrijder. Oorspronkelijk waren ze alleen verkrijgbaar op de Spaanse markt, maar in de jaren negentig werd besloten ze te importeren in Oostenrijk en Duitsland, wat een ommekeer betekende in positieve zin voor zowel het merk als de Duitstalige bromfietsmarkt. Met verschillende versies van de MRT- en Freejump-modellen breidde het straatbeeld zich uit, want hoewel het uiterlijk vergelijkbaar is, zijn er duidelijke verschillen tussen de modellen. Topmodellen hebben bijvoorbeeld een omgekeerde vork en meer uitgebreide kuipdelen. Supermotoren en enduro's met 125cc- en 250cc-motoren zijn ook verkrijgbaar, en er is zelfs een naked bike. Deze worden in ons straatbeeld echter als exotisch beschouwd.
