La KTM 1290 Super Adventure S è più di un'enduro da turismo sportivo: è una macchina sportiva che può anche andare in tour. Il potente motore da 160 CV non è solo estremamente potente, ma è anche molto facile da usare e fa venire voglia di guidare in modo sportivo. Anche i numerosi sistemi di assistenza elettronica, come il controllo della trazione, il telaio semiattivo, le varie modalità e l'ABS in curva, contribuiscono a farvi sentire a vostro agio sulla 1290 Super Adventure S. Infine, anche l'enorme display TFT e altri gadget come il sistema Race-on o My Ride sono piuttosto convincenti.

KTM ha fatto tutto bene con la nuova Superduke 1290 R. La posizione di seduta più sportiva che deriva dal nuovo telaio è perfetta per l'attacco veloce, il motore non ha perso nulla della sua potenza nonostante l'Euro 5, ma è anche diventato più raffinato in combinazione con l'elettronica più sensibile.
