The Scrambler 1200 XC is terrific and just about the right size. It is powerful and offers 200 mm of suspension travel. That's enough for more adventures than you were used to. It has a generous seat height, making it a noble alternative to mighty touring enduros. The somewhat narrower handlebars make it a little tamer - which is not meant in a negative way. If you put it next to the XE, it is simply the more sensible choice. No one needs more.

The Triumph is primarily a scrambler motorbike. And such a good one, in fact, that this wonderfully unreasonable and brutal fun machine can also be chased into difficult terrain. It reminds us why we love motorbikes: it provides great moments in the saddle, but also has practical disadvantages. Because off-road it is a mighty iron and can easily keep up with touring enduros, if not outdo them. With the lack of a windshield and limited space for luggage, it naturally loses out in terms of touring suitability. All in all, a fascinating motorbike that attracts a lot of attention.
