Visually, the new Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is closely related to its single-cylinder sister Continental GT 535, but technically it takes a huge step forward. The parallel twin-cylinder engine with 48 hp and 53 Newton metres of torque is lively and refined, the handling is surprisingly stable and the brakes are also convincing. Electronic features are in vain, but the wonderful cafe racer look remains absolutely authentic. The price is also set so low in Europe that Royal Enfield should no longer be considered a quirky exotic.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 impresses as a versatile naked bike with an accessible engine and easy riding performance. Its comfortable suspension and smooth clutch make it suitable for city riding, while its stable, dynamic suspension makes it ideal for country roads. The retro design with modern elements such as LED lighting and TFT display is a success, with the only drawbacks being the brakes and clutch lever, which are not adjustable. Overall, the Guerrilla 450 offers excellent value for money and is ideal for beginners and experienced riders looking for a rock-solid bike.
