Are there so many people who don't need 100 hp to stabilise their ego? I think with previous single-cylinder models, it was always the design that was the problem, not the lack of power. The Duke manages to look really high-quality even as a small single-cylinder.

Anyone who describes themselves as a risk-conscious, but at the same time risk-averse and stylish bon vivant should give the Hypermotard a try. But the test ride should take longer than usual - about an hour. That's how long it takes for the Hyper spark to take hold and for you to understand the Hypermotard.
