Kymco AK 550i ABS 2019

The first impression on the Kymco AK 550i was thoroughly positive! The NOODOE system is a particular highlight on every climb, with customisable displays that sweeten the day time and time again. Thanks to the large power reserve of the in-line two-cylinder, overtaking manoeuvres are completely worry-free, even though the Kymco has quite a bit of weight around its hips. However, the centre of gravity is very low - once the AK 550i is rolling, the kilos are quickly forgotten. Only in the details does the Kymco weaken. The windshield, for example, can only be adjusted with tools and the readability of the instruments is not ideal in direct sunlight.
Kawasaki Vulcan S 2021

No matter which platform Kawasaki puts the 650 cubic two-cylinder in, the result is always a great motorbike! Even though the engine is unusually rev-happy for a cruiser, it results in a cruiser that actually qualifies as a sports cruiser when paired with the sporty chassis set-up. The only brake is the limited lean angle clearance, but this will not deter lovers of hearty footrest grinding. With such a good bike, we hope that Kawasaki will follow suit - after all, the Vulcan S has been with us almost unchanged since 2015.
