It combines sportiness and long-distance suitability very well, but demands a lot of attention. You have to want the extravagant appearance and the elegant look of the Italian diva, because that's what you pay for. The prices asked for used Turismo Veloce bikes are limited, but then you have to deal with the mediocre reliability and poor spare parts supply. Definitely a bike for extroverted lovers of racy Italian motorbikes.
Yamaha Tenere 700 2019
The Tenere 700 is still unrivalled in 2022. It offers the best compromise between price, off-road capability and ride comfort on the road. It rides into the heart, is super fun and is a motorbike for a wide range of uses. Die-hard fans will forgive the lack of electronic features. The somewhat lax brakes and the annoying fuel cap probably won't.
