The Aprilia Dorsoduro 900 is the perfect choice for those who are looking for the feeling of a genuine supermoto, but do not want to do without the comfort and convenience of a naked bike. Its pleasantly smooth V2 and well-tuned chassis find a very fair compromise between emotional sports machine and everyday cruiser, which is why the Dorsoduro 900 can be recommended to a broad target group. Visual details such as the undersat exhaust or the red valve covers give it a lot of character even when stationary, even if the overall design seems a little outdated. The only downer is the operation of the display, which should have been much more intuitive.

Anyone who thought the new 8980 SMT would play an unnecessary supporting role between the 890 Adventure and 890 Duke models was probably mistaken. Rarely before has a motorbike managed to do so much what it suggests on the outside with its looks. So the 890 SMT wants to be moved in a sporty way - and can do that particularly well. However, with the fairing, the well-padded saddle and the upright seating position, even long distances are easy to master. The brakes have a firm grip and the handling feels extremely agile, even in tight corners. The motto of the 890 SMT is clearly travelling AND racing!
