The Triumph Street Triple 765 RS 2019 and the Honda CB650R 2019 are both naked bikes that offer a thrilling riding experience. However, there are several key differences between the two models.
In terms of engine performance, the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS takes the lead with its 123 horsepower engine, compared to the Honda CB650R's 95 horsepower engine. The Street Triple also has a higher torque output of 77 Nm, providing more power and acceleration on the road. Both bikes have fuel injection systems and liquid cooling for optimal performance.
When it comes to suspension, both bikes feature upside-down telescopic forks at the front and swing arm suspension at the rear. The Street Triple's suspension is provided by Showa, while the CB650R also utilizes Showa suspension components. In terms of chassis, the Street Triple features an aluminum frame, which contributes to its low weight and sporty handling. On the other hand, the CB650R has a steel frame, which may not offer the same level of agility and responsiveness as the Street Triple.
When it comes to braking, the Street Triple comes equipped with a double disk setup at the front with a diameter of 310 mm and four-piston radial monoblock calipers. This provides excellent stopping power and control. The CB650R also has a double disk setup at the front, but with a larger diameter of 320 mm and double piston calipers with wave technology. While the CB650R's braking system is still effective, it may not offer the same level of performance as the Street Triple's Brembo M50 brake system.
In terms of rider assistance systems, both bikes come with ABS as standard. However, the Street Triple offers additional advanced rider assistance systems such as riding modes, ride by wire, a quickshifter, and traction control. These features enhance the overall riding experience and provide added safety and convenience.
In terms of dimensions and weights, both bikes have the same front and rear tire widths and diameters. The Street Triple has a slightly shorter wheelbase of 1410 mm compared to the CB650R's 1450 mm, which may contribute to its nimble handling. The Street Triple also has a slightly higher seat height of 825 mm compared to the CB650R's 810 mm. Both bikes have similar fuel tank capacities, with the Street Triple holding 17.4 liters and the CB650R holding 15.4 liters.

In terms of strengths, the Street Triple stands out with its fantastically lively engine, high-quality standard features, quickshifter with blipper as standard, roaring sound, excellent Brembo M50 brake system, ABS and traction control as standard, sporty look, and low weight. On the other hand, the CB650R offers a rev-happy engine, reasonable power, a sporty seating position, wide handlebars, and is comfortable for everyday use. It also has a pretty display.
In terms of weaknesses, the Street Triple's somewhat complicated menu navigation may be seen as a disadvantage. On the other hand, the CB650R's weakness lies in its chassis, which may not offer the same level of performance as its two-cylinder competition. Additionally, the CB650R may not have as much power from the hairpin compared to its competitors.
Overall, both the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS 2019 and the Honda CB650R 2019 have their own unique strengths and weaknesses. The Street Triple offers a more powerful and sporty riding experience, while the CB650R provides a comfortable and versatile ride. As before, the RS top model is indeed the most desirable of the Street Triples. In addition to the usual playful handling, the super-direct Brembo brakes and the lively character of the three-cylinder engine, there is now a more bulbous mid-range, upgraded electronics as well as a Brembo M50 brake and the once again sharpened appearance. Thanks to the very sporty Pirelli Supercorsa SP V3 tyres, trackdays are indeed a serious issue, and the now standard shift assistant with blipper function greatly increases the incentive to switch to the new model. A wonderful fun machine for both country road and track!
Honda CB650R 2019

Honda's CB650R proves brilliantly that four-cylinder naked bikes with little displacement are also a real source of joy on the country road. The engine tuning gives enough pressure from the hairpin bend and rewards with a wonderful four-cylinder shriek after a short wait. The suspension components clearly attempt a balancing act between everyday life and sportiness, which is why unrest can quickly be found in the vehicle when approaching the cornering at a brisk pace. Somehow, however, this imperfection gives the Honda a lot of character and gives the rider the feeling of having to actively integrate himself into the action. For country road racers with a daily commute, a real recommendation!
