Triumph has created an incredibly good all-rounder with the new Speed Triple 1200 RS. The engine can be moved very comfortably at low revs. The vehicle is very accessible when needed and inspires confidence. However, anyone who puts the spurs to the compact-looking motorbike reaps cruel acceleration and hard braking. The chassis is quite tight overall - as a result, it loses a little of its accessibility.

For the fact that Honda has actually only announced an update, hardly a stone has been left unturned on the new Fire Blade. Some of the new features are of course due to the new EURO standard, but many of them are really aimed at improving drivability.
