The Tenere 700 is still unrivalled in 2022. It offers the best compromise between price, off-road capability and ride comfort on the road. It rides into the heart, is super fun and is a motorbike for a wide range of uses. Die-hard fans will forgive the lack of electronic features. The somewhat lax brakes and the annoying fuel cap probably won't.

Triumph Tiger 800 XC Special 2014
The Tiger 800 XC already draws attention to this in its name: the large and narrow tyres, the long suspension travel and the upright seating position certainly allow for off-road excursions.
