Pros and Cons in comparison

Pros and Cons in comparison

BMW R 1300 RS 2026

BMW R 1300 RS 2026

The BMW R 1300 RS combines the powerful 1300cc boxer engine with precise, semi-active suspension and state-of-the-art electronics. Compared to its predecessor, BMW’s sports tourer has become significantly more dynamic and sporty. It really comes into its own on winding roads, but it’s also more than capable of handling journeys of any length.

Excellent feel for the front wheel

a dynamic and powerful engine

precise suspension with high stability and versatility

sports brakes that are easy to modulate

versatile riding modes and electronics

a nicely front-wheel-oriented, yet not overly radical, riding position

Adjusting the windscreen is a bit fiddly

slight turbulence around the helmet for taller riders

the knee angle is a bit acute for riders with long legs

Yamaha Tracer 9 2021

Yamaha Tracer 9 2021

Absolutely recommended for riders who like sporty riding but also don't want to forego the advantages of a touring vehicle. Whether GT or standard version is a question of taste: if you like to accelerate, mainly ride on good roads and are comfortable with a firm chassis, the standard Tracer 9 will serve you very well. Those who would like to have a bit of comfort on top and also ride longer tours from time to time will appreciate the comfort and additional equipment of the GT.

Powerful and powerful engine

easy handling

stable ride

comprehensive electronics package

Cumbersome operation of the display

stationary noise >95 dB (96 dB)
