Kawasaki KLE500 SE 2026

The Kawasaki KLE 500 SE is an uncomplicated A2-category adventure bike with outstanding all-round capabilities. Its upright ergonomics, effective wind protection, relaxed range and comfortable suspension make both everyday riding and long-distance journeys a pleasure. On gravel and rougher forest tracks, the 21-inch front wheel, long travel and easily controllable clutch come in handy. On off-road terrain, however, low ground clearance, soft setup and the bike’s large dimensions limit its capabilities. The rare rear tyre size is particularly frustrating, as it restricts the choice of knobbly tyres. The controls and off-road electronics also feel outdated. However, the SE impresses with its high robustness and a well-balanced overall package for beginners, those returning to the sport and touring riders with realistic adventure ambitions.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 2018

The Royal Enfield Himalayan is a real retro touring enduro. Apart from ABS, the bike does without any riding aids - but with its low power, you will rarely need aids such as traction control. Its appearance is definitely unique and brings a breath of fresh air to the current segment of touring enduros. In addition to its looks, the Himalayan scores with its easy rideability and a very comfortable seating position. Only the performance of the brake is disappointing. Despite good hardware, it takes a lot of power to stop the Royal Enfield. That's why you can call it a real retro bike - not only its looks, but also its technology is full of retro charm.
