Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid 2026

If you want to, you can tackle even challenging off-road terrain with it. Yet, if you don’t need to cover long distances, you’ll still prefer the lightness of the standard T7. The World Raid’s wide fuel tank makes a noticeable difference in terms of ergonomics and handling. The high-quality suspension, on the other hand, copes well even with tough off-road sections, and thanks to the steering damper, the bike remains very stable even on dirt tracks travelled at high speed. A 6-axis IMU and Ride-by-Wire system also allow the Ténéré’s long-distance flagship model to incorporate cornering ABS, drift control and lean-angle-sensitive traction control. The quickshifter, however, is an optional extra. All in all, true to its name, the World Raid is particularly well-suited to world travellers and, in this respect, is very well thought out with its long range and high level of off-road comfort – yet it is not quite as comfortable as other touring enduros with a stronger focus on tarmac.

Robust, balanced and user-friendly - this is how the slightly modified sister of the Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid can be described. If you want to, you can also conquer tougher off-road terrain with it, but if you don't have to cover long distances, you will prefer the lightness of the standard Tenere 700. The wide tank of the World Rally is noticeable in the ergonomics and handling. The soft suspension, on the other hand, copes well with tough off-road terrain and, thanks to the steering damper, the bike remains very stable even on fast-flowing dirt tracks. The complicated procedure for deactivating the ABS is annoying in the long run; a simple "off" button would be nice. In keeping with its name, the World Rally is particularly suitable for long-distance travellers and is very well thought out in this respect with a long range and plenty of (off-road) comfort.
