Pros and Cons in comparison

Ducati Multistrada V2 S 2024

Ducati Multistrada V2 S 2024

The Ducati Multistrada V2 S impresses with its sporty DNA, state-of-the-art technology and agile riding performance. It is the first choice for dynamic riders who value performance and precision when travelling. Despite its lower weight, it impresses with its high stability and comprehensive electronics package. Minor weaknesses such as the limited comfort at lower speeds or the somewhat clunky quickshifter in tight hairpins hardly spoil the positive overall picture.

Versatile, semi-active suspension

well-modulated brakes

sporty yet comfortable riding position

well suited for smaller riders

extensive standard equipment comfortable for pillion riders

sporty, revvy engine with typical Ducati character

light weight of only 225 kg - ideal for sporty handling

extensive electronics package including cornering ABS, traction control and quickshifter

narrow waist, optimum ergonomics for smaller riders

Torque somewhat restrained at low revs

quickshifter not always liquid at low speeds

seat comfort on long lengths less pronounced than on touring-orientated competitors

Honda CB1000GT 2026

Honda's attempt to derive a sporty touring bike from a Hornet has been a success for the Japanese. With a high level of comfort and impressive standard equipment, the new GT also scores highly in terms of sportiness. The 229kg is hardly noticeable when rider or stationary, giving a very lively impression. The look is also impressive thanks to the successful lines and skilful design and colour scheme. However, the most convincing aspect is probably the price-performance ratio. At €17,490 in Austria and €14,429 in Germany, Honda has really dropped the ball on the price. If you also consider the extensive standard equipment (electronic suspension, cruise control, heated grips, keyless go, case system,...), the Japanese have even cut the braces. However, anyone who wants to put the GT in their garage will need a little patience: the first vehicles are not expected to be delivered before the second quarter. But there is one small consolation in this respect: anticipation is the greatest joy!

High ride comfort Generous standard equipment

Price/performance ratio

Wide range of accessories

No automatic shift function when shifting up and throttle closed

Power at low revs could be more

Suspension a little bumpy on sharp edges
