Pros and Cons in comparison

Honda CB1000GT 2026

Honda CB1000GT 2026

Honda's attempt to derive a sporty touring bike from a Hornet has been a success for the Japanese. With a high level of comfort and impressive standard equipment, the new GT also scores highly in terms of sportiness. The 229kg is hardly noticeable when rider or stationary, giving a very lively impression. The look is also impressive thanks to the successful lines and skilful design and colour scheme. However, the most convincing aspect is probably the price-performance ratio. At €17,490 in Austria and €14,429 in Germany, Honda has really dropped the ball on the price. If you also consider the extensive standard equipment (electronic suspension, cruise control, heated grips, keyless go, case system,...), the Japanese have even cut the braces. However, anyone who wants to put the GT in their garage will need a little patience: the first vehicles are not expected to be delivered before the second quarter. But there is one small consolation in this respect: anticipation is the greatest joy!

High ride comfort Generous standard equipment

Price/performance ratio

Wide range of accessories

No automatic shift function when shifting up and throttle closed

Power at low revs could be more

Suspension a little bumpy on sharp edges

Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports DCT 2021

Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports DCT 2021

The Africa twin cylinder is an adventure bike as an adventure bike should be. The suspension absorbs pretty much all bumps, the engine remains confident in every situation and the ergonomics and seating comfort are exemplary. A bike for every day as well as for the big journey - wherever that may take you.

High-torque engine

sophisticated electronic driving aids

wonderfully functioning DCT (optional)

colour touch-screen display

good ergonomics

Suitability for long journeys

Great Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration

Windscreen adjustment somewhat impractical

Operating concept of the electronics not very clear and intuitive

Windscreen and wind protection not perfect - head turbulence occurs at higher travelling speeds

The engine is too unspectacular for sporty riders
