Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally 2025

Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally 2025

The new Tenere 700 Rally is a fusion of the beautiful design of the previous Rally Edition, inspired by the old Teneres of the 80s and 90s, with the high-performance components of the Tenere 700 Extreme. The high-quality KYB suspension and successful, revised ergonomics make it a conqueror of all trails. Never before has it been possible to ride a standard Tenere so hard and at the same time so stylishly over hill and dale. But it also wants to be driven sportily through off-road terrain. An overly cosy throttle hand only suits the fast-working, sporty suspension to a limited extent and with the high seat height, you don't want to be looking for ground contact with your legs too often. However, those who are adept at conquering off-road tracks can have a lot of fun with the new Tenere 700 Rally. The new electronic features in no way diminish this riding pleasure.

Great, powerful engine

Beautifully responsive, very potent suspension

Many changes in detail that make the Tenere more practical than before

Easy to read, beautifully styled TFT display

ABS mode remains active when the emergency stop button is actuated

ABS button in the cockpit for quick deactivation of the ABS

Very good ergonomics, especially for upright riding

Ready for tough adventures ex works (except for the standard tyres)

No cruise control available for an extra charge

Strange indicator switches

No tubeless rims available

Somewhat limited space for large feet on the footrests

Triumph Speed 400 2025

Triumph Speed 400 2025

The Speedy 400 is a really smart A2-class naked bike at a low price. The engine could be a little more agile, but the small Speed 400 offers a nice torque plateau in the mid-range. Thanks to its low weight, the handling is perfectly fine and the suspension offers an appropriate compromise between comfort and sport - with a tendency towards comfort. Although the brakes only have one disc at the front, they are really effective. Finally, the electronics also score points, with even a disengageable traction control system on board.
